Marijuana lives in a complicated area in American life. Originally criminalized by Big Ag due to migrant farm workers consuming it, laws were later passed on wildly racist ideology, it has now become a national past-time consumed by politicians, doctors, hippies, and everywhere in between.

Roughly 88% of the population supports legal and-or medical marijuana. It's both widely consumed across demographics for personal and medical reasons and yet, federally illegal. In 2024, states collected nearly $4B in revenue despite all of the burdens of it's mixed legal status and cash-only processing.
